In Memoriam: Dr. Steve Bierman, co-CEO of Bedal International

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Steve Bierman, co-CEO of Bedal International. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones.

Steve joined Bedal in 2022, driven by a conviction he shared with our founders: that catheter care could be better for patients and caregivers. A physician who spent 20 years in emergency medicine, he held more than 200 patents and founded two medical device companies, and many of his inventions are used daily around the world.

When we think of Steve, we think of passion: for life, for his family and his dogs, for patients, for the ocean. That all-encompassing passion is what we will carry forward as his legacy.

Our whole team is more determined than ever to continue the mission. Our products, operations and commitments to customers, distributors and partners remain unchanged.

       Steve’s vision of providing the best catheter care possible for patients and        

       caregivers remains our mission, and we will carry it forward in his memory.
